Major themes discussed and debated included issues sexual pleasure and language and terms, the feminist debate, boundaries and limits, regulation and censorship, rights, how to incorporate into programming, power dynamics, disability, and how sexual pleasure relates to wellbeing, to name a few!
The second e-Forum discussion on "Sexuality and Censorship" began on January 16, 2006 and ended on March 16, 2006. Major themes that were discussed during this e-Forum were the purpose of censorship, talking about various kinds of censors including self-censorship, tracing the relationship between censorship and freedom and that between censorship and representation.
The third e-Forum on "Sexuality, Young People and Rights" began on April 3, 2006 and ended on June 6, 2006. Major themes included discussing and debating what the main issues around sexuality are for young people, who actually these so-called young people are, the various issues of participation and access to information on issues of sexuality for young people; sexuality education and the sexual rights of young people.
The fourth e-Forum discussion on ‘Sexual Concerns – Approaches and Management’ began on June 12, 2006 and continued till August 21, 2006. Major themes included talking about various myths and misconceptions related to sexuality in different country contexts, manifestation of a sexual concern into a ‘sexual problem’, common approaches and service providers to take care of a sexual concern/problem, and whether sexual concerns can be claimed as a set of rights or entitlements.
The fifth e-Forum discussion on 'Diverse Genders and Sexualities' began on August 23, 2006 and continued till November 14, 2006. Major themes included the politics behind identities, negotiating spaces for the expression of sexuality, the formation of sexual hierarchies and how that might marginalize some people and discussing various campaigns and movements on sexualities within the region.
The sixth e-Forum on 'Sexuality and Violence' has began on November 15, 2006 and will continue till January 15, 2007.
