TARSHI (Talking About Reproductive and Sexual Health Issues), an NGO based in Delhi hosts The South and Southeast Asia Regional Resource Center on Sexuality. The Resource Centre aims to increase knowledge and scholarship on issues of sexuality, sexual health and sexual well-being in the region. It serves as a space for activists, advocates, practitioners and researchers working in the field of sexuality, specifically focusing on China, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Sir Lanka, Thailand, The Philippines and Vietnam.
TARSHI (Talking About Reproductive and Sexual Health Issues) seeks a Consultant Librarian for The South and South East Asia Regional Resource Center on Sexuality, New Delhi. The Center provides and shares essential information and resources across countries in this region, develops scholarship and capacity through experiential learning and initiates the spread and consolidation of knowledge. The Center through its efforts hopes to enhance conceptual understanding of the fields of sexuality, gender and human rights.
The Consultant will be primarily responsible for updating the Resource Centre Library. S/he will work in close coordination with the Programme Director and other programme staff to organize work routines. S/he will advise on electronic dissemination of information, teach and instruct library patrons on the use of electronic information resources; administer the Library database and web site.
A suitable candidate should possess: An appropriate degree in the social sciences and a professional degree in Library Sciences; experience of 4-5 years working in a development agency library/resource center; possess high competence in the use of computers, networks and software programs; excellent communication skills and good coordination and networking abilities.

TARSHI (Talking About Reproductive and Sexual Health Issues) is a Delhi based NGO that operates a helpline, holds public events, trains other NGO staff and publishes books on Reproductive and Sexual Health. It hosts the Southeast Asia Resource Centre on Sexuality and conducts diverse programmes in the region. A vacancy exists for an Accountant in Delhi, which requires to be filled immediately.
The Accountant should have a minimum qualification of B.Com, but it would be preferable if s/he has a higher educational degree in accountancy. S/he should have a good command of the English language, since the organisation deals with funding agencies and other organisations in English. S/he should have at least 3 years experience in handling FCRA, and accounting skills related to Registered Societies. S/he should be computer literate, and be proficient in TALLY 6.3, 7.2. A person with previous NGO experience would be considered more eligible for the position.
The incumbent will be required to handle all grant related accounting, salaries, taxation, budgeting, reporting and day-to-day accounting as well as assist with audits and finalization of accounts.
